The Red Dot crossbow sight is 1X (no magnification). The suggested range for sighting this in is up to the individual, but best results are with the top dot set for 20 yards POI result. The dots below are not a specific set, or stated yardage, they do not fall in exactly at 20, 30 and 40 yard POI results…they may, but they may also vary a bit. Where your arrows find their zero POI is something you will need to discover through shooting results…they may be at, before or beyond these theoretical 10 yard increments.
Once shot at yardages where your arrows are zeroed for these lower dots, these distances will need to held in reference for future shooting and use. Please note, changing arrows, changing from field to hunting tips, or a new style of broadhead, can all influence POI results.
